When looking for a cheap sniper paintball gun, you need to be aware of some limitations of cheaper models. Usually they won't be as accurate as more expensive snipers. This downfall is enough to often make people forget their low budget and start looking at guns which are priced a little higher.

With that said, it is entirely possible to purchase a used sniper paintball gun which can save you up to fifty percent of the new retail price. If you are purchasing used, ensure you thoroughly examine the gun and preferably be allowed to shoot a few rounds with it to gauge the build quality of it. You don't want to be buying a dud so do your homework before buying a used cheap sniper paintball gun.

The Longbow Sniper paintball gun may not be considered cheap however it is considered one of the best on the market today. It feels like a real sniper gun. It also looks and feels like one. I love this gun!

You can feed this gun twenty one paintballs and still the gun remains light. The Longbow Magazine System is developed to allow you to carry additional loaded magazines which can easily and instantly be swapped with the push of a button. This makes the Longbow a revolutionary sniper paintball gun. The Magazine System itself costs around $150.

When buying a sniper paintball gun, whether it is cheap or expensive, you need to consider a few factors. These include barrel length, barrel porting, the sound of the gun (no point having a noisy sniper gun) and other things such as the look, feel, weight and functionality of the gun.

A barrel with porting will assist in the quietness of the gun, however this is not foolproof. Some guns with barrel porting are still loud. A pump gun will also be louder than a semi automatic. So keep these important factors in mind when shopping for an expensive or cheap sniper paintball gun.

A sniper gun should certainly not be bright colored. This is something many people overlook! A soldier wouldn't go out into battle carrying a neon flag! A sniper needs to hide and as such his gun should be camouflaged. Look for brown and green colored sniper guns.

Sniper paintball guns are excellent guns to use if you love to sneak around on the field. Whether buying a cheap or expensive sniper paintball gun, make sure you thoroughly check it out before purchase.

Compressed air (high pressure air/Nitrogen) is much cleaner than CO2, which means it is not as harsh on the internals of your gun. You should only use compressed air.

Please help me. Can the Longbow run off CO2?
I would really appreciate if someone would answer me because i live in a small town and we have one army surplus, and they can only fill co2 tanks.

Great article! How far would the average sniper gun be able to shoot and still be accurate?
